markClipper - obsidian web clipper
markClipper is a Chrome add-on developed by brahmastra that allows users to easily save web contents directly to their Obsidian vault without any configuration. With markClipper, users can clip web contents into markdown format, capture screenshots and insert them into their vault with just two clicks, insert images into their Obsidian vault, and even insert the articles from their current tab or all open tabs. The add-on also allows users to drag and drop images and selected text, highlight text and insert the highlighted text into their notes, all without the need for separate Obsidian plugins or any sign-up. markClipper is free, open-source, and even offers a dark mode for users who prefer it.

Permissions include showing the side panel, accessing the active tab's title and URL, injecting screenshot and markdown converter tools, saving extension configurations, and adding a context menu on images. markClipper also offers keyboard shortcuts for easy access to its features.
